@YourOldPalFernbark4 years agoInteresting items that you tried out. I keep a set of leather gloves in my pack for working with things like a hot pan or a hot tin of firestarter. I also use the plyer feature of my multi-tool to grab things from a fire to protect my girlish fingers. ...

@HistorySavior19414 years agoHey man!!! Nice video the fire ring was awesome!! I was wondering about those. I have some flint and steel fire starting kits (somewhere). When I get some time I will dig one out. We can do another collab to see who can start a fire faster with one. If you have never done it...it is a historic way of starting a fire, common during the French Indian Wars, Rev War, War of 1812 and many years before that. The Native Americans commonly made fire with flint as well along with making spearhead, arrowheads and many other tools. The pack will contain a small tin box, char cloth, and flint and steel. I have to dig them out soon and send you one. I’m challenging you lol!!!! ...1

@bigdavesoutdoors97614 years agoThe packing materials Minotuar uses makes a BADASS birds nest also. The little ferro rods are nice in a pinch but get a 6" rod. I haven't used a lighter to start a fire since Covid. Flint n steel, ferro, magnesium haven't tried a bow drill yet. Well done dub enjoy you vids👍 ...

@TheRealJackOfTrades4 years agoNext time try a couple drops of the Minotaur olive oil with the butter powder in the mashed potatoes. Also you can add a little parm powder to the potatoes, let me cool down then make into patties and fry. So good
