NAADAN PUZHA MEEN CURRY/EAST BENGAL CURRY
INGREDIENTS
1. Fresh water fish-500 gm
2. Shallots- 1.5 cups
3. Green chilly-1 nos
4. Ginger-1 tbspn
5. Curry Leaves-5 or 6 stem
6. Kashmiri Chilly Powder- 1 tspn
7. Red chilly powder- 1 tspn
8. Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
9. Salt as per taste
10. Tamarind
11. Coconut oil
Method
Add tamarind water and ingredients 2 to 9 and boil it for 10 to 15 minutes. Now add the fish and cook it for some time. Make sure that fish is nicely cooked. Turn off the gas stove and add coconut oil and curry leaves.Serve hot.
