when you just enter hallowbrook hotel, the whole hall is empty. You can go forward into the next location, dont do that, you should go down, at the bottom you found flamethrower and closed door after, also trigger spawn some enemies, you should kill all enemis in this location, and return to the bottom, and now door is open, this door is shortway to boss fight, so you completely skip location with heather. Kill boss, return home, heather alive)
some my details and advice from internet:
1. Patch plus! I think this is most important! Also my ver 10. 5 and no other mods.
2. In internet i found some advice in dialog with heather say to her shoot strangers if something happens and that you love her if final dialog, and get armor from her. Also your humanity should be maxed. In that case, there will be no heather after the elevator. I do this(but i dont receive armor, dont know why) but if i dont use shortway, heather still dies. So i think this advice do not work.
3. Sometimes in net speaking about that specific apartments and the specific vampire clan are important. I think not. But just in case my clan tremere, and i live in a tremere apartment.
4. Also in net i found advice after elevator do not go forward to cutscene, you should attract attention of enemies from where you stay, and kill them before cutscene. I spend so many try to this, and after success, heather dies anyway. So this advice definietly dont work to me.
